Coronavirus: FG to reduce 2020 Budget.
The federal Government has sent a new budget proposal to the National assembly for consideration. According to The Nation, the new proposal reduced the 2020 budget from N10.594 trillion to N10.276 trillion, dropped the oil bench mark from $57 per barrel to $30 per barrel. The volume of oil production was also reduced from 2.17 million barrel to 1.70 million barrel as exchange rate rose from N305 per dollar to N360.

The building, tagged “Treasury House” is located beside the Federal Capital Territory FCT Police Command in Garki, Abuja. 16 new COVID 19 cases recorded in Lagos, FCT, Oyo, Katsina and Delta
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC has confirmed 16 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria. According to the agency, 10 new cases were recorded in Lagos, two in Oyo and two in FCT, one each in Katsina and Delta state. Nigeria now has 254 confirmed cases. Forty-four have been discharged with six deaths.

Covid-19: Trump threatens retaliation if India turns down supply of Hydroxychloroquine
President of the United States, Donald Trump has said there may be a retaliation on India if they refuse to supply hydroxychloroquine to the US to aid in the combat of Covid-19. Coronavirus: Katsina records First Death
Governor Of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari has on Tuesday announced the death of the state’s first COVID-19 patient. The patient, Dr. Aminu Yakubu, was a Daura based private Medical practitioner who recently returned from Lagos to the state. The governor disclosed that the deceased who is an indigene of kogi state was away for two weeks on visitation to Kogi and Lagos states. A 23 year old Man, Bayo has reportedly taken his own life at his residence in Angwa Tiv area of the Kogi State capital, Lokoja on Monday April 6. He was a graduate of Kogi State Polytechnic.
