Pregnant Woman onboard flight from Dubai goes into labor
The first set of Nigerians stranded in Dubai were today flown to Nigeria and among them was a pregnant woman who went into labor barely 30 minutes into the flight. According to a statement via the official Twitter handle of Abike Dabiri, the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, the flight had to return back to Dubai as a result. One doctor dies, 34 other doctors test positive for COVID-19 in Kano
The Kano State Chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), on Tuesday, said that 34 doctors have tested positive for COVID-19 in the state. The NMA Chairman, Sanusi Bala, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano that one of the confirmed cases has died. Dr Osagie Ehanire, Nigeria’s Minister of Health, has disclosed the drug used to treat COVID-19 patients in Nigeria.
