Fire incident occurs at Presidential Villa’s store
A fire incident had reportedly occurred at the presidential villa on Thursday June 4 which was confirmed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu. Shehu said the fire occurred at a store near the State House Chapel in the Presidential Villa on Thursday afternoon. He described it as a minor incident and also linked it to an electrical spark. Buhari nominates Okonji-Iweala for WTO role
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the Nomination of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for the position of director-general of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The nomination was confirmed by Buhari’s media aides, Bashir Ahmaad, on Twitter on Thursday night. Yono Frederick Agah was initially nominated by the President but it has now been withdrawn. Police arrests man for allegedly raping 85-year-old grandmother in Niger state
