Courts frees Teenager who killed 51 year old that tried to rape her.
A 15-year-old girl charged with murdering a 51-year-old man, Babatunde Ishola who tried to rape her has been freed by a Magistrate court in Yaba, Lagos. The police had filed a suit against the Senior Secondary School (SSS) 3 pupil, name withheld, following advice from the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP). Magistrate Philip Adebowale Ojo struck out the murder charge filed by the defendant on Wednesday. The Director, Lagos State Office of the Public Defender (OPD), Dr. Babajide Martins, whose office defended the young girl pro bono, has hailed the decision of the court.

Man shares video of Airport officials pushing an airplane
A video making rounds on social media has captured some airport officials trying to push a faulty airplane which they could have used a Tug to wheel out but due to lack of facilities they resulted to pushing the airplane instead. Facebook user, Rena Napoleon who shared the video wrote; “Abeg God come and split Nigeria make everybody go there own country and change identity cause Nigeria is dead and gone…..pushing plane to start ? Police arrest two women for stealing a two-year-old boy in Imo
The Imo state police command have arrested two women;Victoria Joseph, 28, and Joy Ugorji,33, for allegedly stealing a two-year-old boy and attempting to sell him off to a prospective buyer. They confessed that they stole the child at Kakuano LGA, Rivers State, and brought him to Imo for sale. WTO accepts Okonjo-Iweala’s Nomination as DG despite Egypt’s protest
The World Trade Organisation (WTO) has accepted the nomination of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for the position of its director general, in spite of a protest by Egypt. The Egyptian government had nominated Mr. Abdel-Hamid Mamdouh for the same position whilst opposing Okonjo-Iweala’s Nomination saying the time was overdue for her nomination. Mother of 13 gives birth to quadruplet in Kaduna

Minister of health attributes incessant deaths in Kano to Covid-19
Minister of health, Osagie Ehanire says more than half of the strange deaths recorded in Kano state may have been caused by coronavirus. He said this while speaking at the presidential task force briefing on Monday, saying the verbal autopsy report from the state suggested that a significant number of deaths recorded was also triggered by an inability to access routine care as a result of the fear of COVID-19.
