The airline that conveyed Naira Marley to Abuja for his concert at Jabi Lake Mall has written an apology to the federal government following reports that the Minister of Aviation had suspended the airline. The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the airline, Mr. Sam Iwuajoku, in a letter sent to Minister of aviation, said that the airline airlifted Naira Marley due to a case of mistaken identity. Wike sacks MD of Microfinance agency, orders arrest of officials
Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has ordered the dismissal of the Managing director of Rivers State Microfinance agency, Dr Ipalibo Sogules and the arrest of three other top officials over allegations of fraud. The officials include; Head of SMEs, Mr Nimi Harry; the Head of Finance and Accounts, Mr Ukele Okorji; and the Internal Auditor, Mr Sofiri Koko. This was according to a statement by the states commissioner for information and communication, Paulinus Nsirim. The governor also directed that the heads of other departments of the agency be arrested for further investigations.

FG suspends Flight Company that conveyed Naira Marley to Abuja
The minister for aviation Hadi Sirika, has announced that the flight which conveyed Naira Marley to Abuja for a concert has been suspended indefinitely. He stated this at the daily briefing on the presidential task force on COVID-19 on Monday, adding that the company has been suspended indefinitely and the flight crew will be punished for providing misleading information. This follows the shutdown of Jabi Lake mall where the said concert was held.

FAAN shares Covid-19 flight resumption protocol
Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has shared some Covid-19 flight resumption protocol following preparedness to lift ban on domestic flights. In a tweet the authority shared via its twitter handle, passengers are advised to be at the airport 3 hours before their flight time. Lagos Senator, Osinowo is dead
Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Bayo Osinowo is dead. Reports have it that he died on Monday morning. A close family source who shared the sad news said “The Senator has been suffering high blood pressure for years. It’s really not a secret those close to him know this”.
