A pregnant woman who was in labour died today after she was allegedly delayed by police officers for not wearing a face mask in the Ogun Waterside local government area of Ogun state. According to reports, the deceased, Waidat Adedeji, went into labour and was being rushed on a motorcycle by one of her children to the Ita-Otu General hospital when they were stopped by police officers at Sowore checkpoint. Rwanda builds five screening Robots for Covid-19 Patients
Rwandan Health Ministry have announced an edge in the fight against coronavirus. They have built five high tech anti-epidemic robots that have been equipped with screening capabilities and will help administer temperature checks, monitor patient status, and keep medical records of about 50 – 150 patients each. They were built mainly to reduce the infection risks of the virus.
