Presidential Aide, Bashir Ahmed has reacted to the social media storm he ignited after promising to influence the 26 year jail sentence Yunusa Dahiru (Yellow) was handed by a Federal High Court in Yenagoa, after being found guilty of child trafficking and sexually exploiting an underage girl, Ese Oruru. Dahiru abducted Oruru from her family house at Opolo area of Yenagoa on August 12, 2015 and took her to his home state, Kano, where he forcefully converted her to Islam. Sanwo-Olu Seeks Resumption of Lagos-Abuja Flights
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has revealed that he is making moves to convince the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, to allow the resumption of flights from Lagos to Abuja. He said this while speaking as a panelist at a webinar hosted by FSDH Merchant Bank on Friday. According to him, there has been a significant impact of the airports closure on the state’s economy. 20-year-old Ibrahim Abdullahi and 22-year-old Hassan Amadu have been arrested by the Police Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT) for the murder of Kadade Abdullahi at Amana Maikasuwa Village in Kaduna State. Ibrahim who is a cattle rustler and alleged kidnapper was nabbed after operatives of IRT attached to Operation Puff Adder, Kateri Annex, arrested a member of the 5-man gang that killed Kadade. Ogun State extends lockdown again by one week

Imo Assembly passes Law to cancel pension act for ex-Governors, ex-Speakers
The Imo House of Assembly have canceled the 2007 pension act which strips ex-governors and ex-speakers from receiving pensions or other entitlements. Pregnant woman in labour dies after allegedly being delayed by policemen for not wearing face mask in Ogun State
A pregnant woman who was in labour died today after she was allegedly delayed by police officers for not wearing a face mask in the Ogun Waterside local government area of Ogun state.
