5 brothers abducted in Kaduna after kidnappers broke into their home while they were sleeping
Gunmen have abducted six people in Kaduna, five of whom are brothers from the same parents. The boys, who are between the ages of 8 and 18, were kidnapped in Gonin Gora area of Chikun local government area of Kaduna state. The boys were sleeping in their home in the late hours of Thursday, June 4, when the kidnappers stormed the home, beat them up, and took them away. Avoid worship centers – Lagos Health Commissioner tells residents above 65-years-old
Lagos state commissioner for health, Prof Akin Abayomi has advised residents above 65 to avoid worship centers ahead of the reopening of religious centres in next two weeks. Gov. Bello lifts lockdown in Kabba, insists Kogi is Covid-19 free
Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has lifted the lockdown set on kabba local government area of the state after two cases were supposedly confirmed. He made the announcement at the Government House in Lokoja on Friday June 5, stating that the decision of lifting the lockdown was reached when samples which were tested came back negative. Buhari nominates Okonji-Iweala for WTO role
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the Nomination of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for the position of director-general of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The nomination was confirmed by Buhari’s media aides, Bashir Ahmaad, on Twitter on Thursday night. Yono Frederick Agah was initially nominated by the President but it has now been withdrawn.
