Governor David Umahi tests positive for Coronavirus
Ebonyi state Governor, David Umahi has tested positive for coronavirus. The Governor confirmed this in a statement personally signed by him on Saturday. He and some of his close aides tested positive for the virus but are not showing any symptoms as they have since isolated, in line with protocols laid down by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). The Governor directed the Deputy Governor, Kelechi Igwe, to take over the frontline coordination of the state’s fight against the pandemic to protect Ebonyi people.

Rape allegation: D’banj sues Miss Seyitan for N1.5B
Popular Nigerian singer, D’banj has sued his rape accuser, Miss Seyitan Babatayo for N1.5B. COVID-19: There is an increase in Oxygen demand – Lagos Govt
The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi has made it known that there is a slight increase in oxygen demand by Covid-19 patients. The Commissioner for Health in Ondo state, Dr Wahab Adegbenro, has died. He died of COVID-19 at the state infectious disease hospital in Akure on Thursday July 2. He was 65 years old. This comes days after the Governor of the state, Rotimi Akeredolu tested positive for the virus.
