PDP directs Members in the Senate to reject Buhari’s future Loan plans
The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has met and directed its members in the senate to object any future plan/request by President Muhammadu Buhari to apply for more loans for the country. Courts frees Teenager who killed 51 year old that tried to rape her.
A 15-year-old girl charged with murdering a 51-year-old man, Babatunde Ishola who tried to rape her has been freed by a Magistrate court in Yaba, Lagos. The police had filed a suit against the Senior Secondary School (SSS) 3 pupil, name withheld, following advice from the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP). Police arrest two women for stealing a two-year-old boy in Imo

WTO accepts Okonjo-Iweala’s Nomination as DG despite Egypt’s protest
The World Trade Organisation (WTO) has accepted the nomination of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for the position of its director general, in spite of a protest by Egypt. The Egyptian government had nominated Mr. Abdel-Hamid Mamdouh for the same position whilst opposing Okonjo-Iweala’s Nomination saying the time was overdue for her nomination.
