Tertiary institutions in Lagos to resume September 14 – Sanwo-Olu
Governor of Lagos State, Babar de Sanwo-Olu has announced that tertiary institutions in the state are set to reopen. Speaking in a regular briefing on the state’s COVID-19 status, the governor said tertiary institutions in the state will re-open from September 14. Primary and secondary schools are also tentatively scheduled to re-open from September 21. “This decision is not cast in stone and is subject to review of our ongoing modelling and what procedure comes out from the Ministry of Health,” Sanwo-Olu said

Three persons die in boat mishap in Kaduna
Three persons have been reported dead in Kaduna due to a boat mishap. According to SaharaReporters the victims Melody M, Isaac G., and James S drowned on their way to a burial ceremony in the Lamurde Local Government Area of the state, after the boat capsized. The Nigerian Government has warned the Ghanaian authority that it will no longer tolerate any from of harassment on any Nigerian citizen.
