Police denies arresting Seyitan who accused D’banj of rape
The Nigerian police has denied claims of arresting Seyitan Babatayo, the lady who accused singer, D’banj, of rape. According to a police source, D’banj reported on three separate occasions at FCID for interrogation and statement, while Seyitan repeatedly refused to show up. Her refusing to show up led to the prompt dispatch of officers by the Force CID to Lagos, to invite her for written statement and interrogation on the alleged rape incident. Interstate travel: FG gives guidelines for transporters
The federal government has set guidelines for transporters as they engage in interstate travels. According to the minister of state for transportation, Gbemisola Saraki, if the guidelines are not adhered to, the operational permit of the transporters will be withdrawn. The minister pointed out that interstate transport operators should apply and could only operate on confirmation of satisfaction of the defined guidelines by the state ministry of transportation as there would be regular monitoring of implementation and adherence to guidelines. FG announces resumption of domestic flights
The Nigerian Government has announced the resumption of domestic flights in the country.
