Self-acclaimed Pastor kills native doctor in Anambra state
A self-acclaimed pastor, Mr Uchenna Chukwuma, 21 has reportedly killed a native doctor with a machete in Umusiome, Nkpor, in Idemili North local government area of Anambra State. According to Uchenna, he was sent by God to kill the 60-year-old victim, Oliver Chukwudi because he was disturbing him spiritually. Nigerian Government receive samples of Covid-19 vaccine from Russia
The Nigerian government on Friday said it has received samples of Russia’s COVID-19 vaccine. Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire received the samples from the Russia Ambassador to Nigeria, Alexey Shebarshin, during a visit to the ministry in Abuja, on Friday. The ministry’s Director of Information, Media, and Public Relations, Olujimi Oyetomi disclosed this in a statement. “Russian Federation Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Alexey L. Shebarshin on courtesy visit to Nigeria’s Health Ministers, Russian-made COVID-19 Vaccine finally here,” the statement said.

NAPTIP arrests four women for allegedly selling a newborn baby for N1.5m
Officials of National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) have arrested four women for allegedly selling a newborn baby for N1,500,000. According to NAPTIP officials, two of the women, Bernadette Ihezuo and Cecilia Onyema, are civil servants with the Federal Ministry of Finance Abuja, and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, respectively. The third suspect, Okasi Ekeoma, is said to be Onyema’s sister, while the fourth suspect is the baby’s grandmother Harrieth Nmezi who resides in Imo state. Nationwide curfew now 12am to 4am – FG
The Nigerian Government has made it known that the nationwide curfew in place in the country to restrict movement amid the Coronavirus pandemic is now from 12am to 4am.
