Oshiomhole: Atiku Has Become APC’s Top Campaign Manager

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has declared that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is now effectively the best campaign manager for the All Progressives Congress.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Oshiomhole suggested that Atiku’s public criticisms of other opposition figures are inadvertently benefiting the ruling party.

The Edo North Senator emphasized that the APC is not concerned about the emergence of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) or the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

Regarding the friction within the opposition, Oshiomhole said: “You mean that APC would be worried about ADC, NDC? I saw Atiku, he is now our best campaign manager because he is attacking Obi, and I see Obi attacking Amaechi.”

This political tension follows Peter Obi’s recent departure from the ADC to join the NDC, just months after rejoining Atiku in January 2026.

With Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso now expected to lead the NDC ticket, the APC views the fragmentation of the opposition as a significant strategic advantage.
