“Nigeria Growing Faster Than US, UK” — Bwala Cites IMF Outlook
Presidential aide Daniel Bwala has said Nigeria’s economy is improving and projected to grow faster than that of the United States and the United Kingdom.
Reacting to the IMF’s April 2026 World Economic Outlook, Bwala noted that Nigeria’s economy is expected to grow by 4.1% in 2026 and 4.3% in 2027, outpacing several major economies.
He attributed the projected growth to ongoing reforms under President Bola Tinubu, adding that while the changes have been difficult, they are beginning to produce results.
