Zlatan Ibile revealed his parents initially doubted his wealth after he bought them a house in Lekki, questioning if music alone could fund it.

He said they even delayed accepting the gift until he showed proof of his earnings, urging parents to verify the source of their children’s wealth

“When I blew up in 2019, I bought my first house in Lekki and decided to gift it to my parents. I called them on the phone and asked them to come and they were like, ‘A house? That’s not possible. Are you doing something else apart from music? How did you buy a house worth millions in the space of one year?’,” he recalled.
