Bimbo and IVD: ”Now It’s Time to Feel the Pain”- Sarah Martins Slams Blessing CEO Over Illness
Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has sparked outrage on social media after appearing to mock Blessing CEO following her cancer diagnosis.
In a controversial Instagram post, Sarah referenced Blessing’s past actions, particularly her involvement with Lagos auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, whose wife, Bimbo, died in 2022 after a domestic incident. Blessing had publicly defended IVD at the time and was later linked to him romantically, a move that drew widespread criticism.
Referencing this history, Sarah suggested that Blessing’s current health struggle was a form of karma.
“What a day to be alive… Dear Bimbo… I see what you did there… Kpai them all!” she wrote, in a message that many have described as harsh and insensitive.
Sarah further criticised Blessing in her caption, alleging disrespect toward the deceased and insisting that “God’s timing is always perfect.”
The post has since triggered mixed reactions online. While some supported her stance, others condemned the tone of her message, especially given the seriousness of cancer.
The controversy comes shortly after Blessing CEO revealed she is battling cancer and has begun seeking funds for treatment, a development that has already sparked widespread debate across social media.
