Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has spoken about his recent time in prison, describing the experience as deeply distressing and intense.
In a video making the rounds online, the singer said what he went through was so overwhelming that it made him better understand the struggles faced by late Afrobeat icon and activist Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

According to Portable, the hardship he experienced has changed his approach to conflicts, as he revealed that he will no longer handle issues personally. He said anyone who offends him going forward will be dealt with through proper legal and official channels.
Meanwhile, Portable’s management has released a statement confirming that concerns around the singer have been addressed appropriately, adding that the matter has been resolved and thanking the public for their patience.
