Don’t kill yourself, beg God for forgiveness – Portable advises Bobrisky

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has offered advice to controversial social media figure Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, following Bobrisky’s recent expression of suicidal thoughts. Portable urged Bobrisky to “repent from sinful ways” and reconsider life choices. This counsel came shortly after Bobrisky revealed feelings of despair and hinted at suicidal thoughts, following the release of an incriminating audio recording by social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan.

Earlier on Thursday, Bobrisky took to Instagram to express frustration over public attacks, disclosing suicidal thoughts in a now-deleted post. In response, Portable encouraged Bobrisky not to entertain thoughts of suicide but instead to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, stressing that this would be vital for personal growth and well-being.

“Bobrisky, life is risky. God does not want sinners to die. Tell him to repent. Damn it to any sinner that does not repent. If you die, you are going to hell. Beg God to forgive you. God does not want a sinner to die.

“Help me tell Bobrisky to ask God for forgiveness. All Bobrisky needs is to ask God for forgiveness of sin. What Bobrisky is facing now, if he repents, he will enjoy the world. But if he does not repent.”
