Minimum Wage: Half agbado is better than none – Lawmaker, Shehu Sani
Former lawmaker Senator Shehu Sani has responded to the suspension of the nationwide strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC).
Sani stated that suspending the strike will allow for ongoing negotiations to continue.
The suspension of the strike to make room for continued negotiations is ok. Half agbado is better than none,” the former lawmaker wrote on X.
the Labour Union said the suspension was to give room for uninterrupted meetings with the tripartite committee on the new national minimum wage.
