Alex Otti did not pay me a dime for inauguration performance, I’ve known him all my life – Davido

Davido has provided an explanation for his performance at the inauguration ceremony of Abia State Governor, Alex Otti.

Following the emergence of a video showing Davido’s performance in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, after the swearing-in of Governor Alex Otti and his deputy, Ikechuckwu Emetu, speculations arose among Nigerians regarding the potential wastage of resources in bringing the musician to the event.

In response to the critics, Davido took to Twitter to clarify that he received no payment for his performance. He further expressed his long-standing familiarity with Governor Alex Otti, stating his belief that Otti will work diligently for the people of Abia State.
