Pastor Adeboye tweets, insists RCCG will not comply with FG’s Twitter ban
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), E.A Adeboye has reacted to the Federal Government’s ban on Twitter operations in the country.
The Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed who made the announcement had said the persistent use of the platform for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence was the reason for the suspension.
However, the cleric in a tweet on Monday said tweeting is in accordance with Article 19 of the UN universal declaration of human rights and the Redeemed Christian Church of God will not comply with a directive banning Twitter in Nigeria.
“The Redeemed Christian Church of God is domiciled in more than 170 Nations & Territories.
“The tweets here are in accordance to Article 19 of the UN universal declaration of Human Rights,” he wrote.
that is because they can’t do anything……….
But the government is talking about Nigeria law not universal law of declaration
I hope this won’t cause any problem on your organization
You just need to trend softly because you have name, therefore, trend softly
No problem, only time will tell and the end will justify
