I was healed of asthma, pneumonia at his crusade – Frank Edwards mourns Uma Ukpai
Popular gospel singer Frank Edwards has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of renowned preacher Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, who died on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80.
Taking to social media, Edwards joined thousands of Nigerians and followers of the late cleric in mourning, recalling a personal encounter that changed his life.
According to him, he was healed of asthma and pneumonia during one of Rev. Ukpai’s crusades, a miracle he described as a turning point in his faith journey.
Tributes have continued to pour in across social media as many celebrate the evangelist’s decades of impactful ministry and legacy of faith.
He wrote, “At age 8 I got healed of asthma and pneumonia in one of your crusades in Enugu!! Thank you for impacting the world in a special way !! YOU FINISHED WELL PAPA REST ON”.
