“We Will Resist One-Party State” — Dino Melaye Warns Tinubu
Former Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye has criticised President Bola Tinubu, warning against what he described as attempts to entrench prolonged rule and weaken opposition.
In a video shared on Facebook, Melaye said Tinubu’s alleged ambition to mirror long-serving leaders like Paul Biya would not succeed in Nigeria.
“Tinubu’s ambition… will not work,” he said, urging Nigerians to resist any move toward a one-party system.
He also decried the state of the nation, describing the current situation as unprecedented and expressing concern over what he sees as a lack of responsive leadership.
