‘None is from Kaduna’ – Shehu Sani on list of Nigerians to be deported from US
Former Kaduna Central senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the list of Nigerians set to be deported from the United States, noting that none of the names is from Kaduna State.
In a post on his verified X handle on Tuesday, Sani said he had reviewed the list of individuals tagged as “worst-of-the-worst” criminals and urged others to check if anyone from their states was affected.
His comment follows an announcement by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that at least 79 convicted Nigerians would be deported as part of ongoing immigration enforcement.
Reacting, the former lawmaker said, “I have seen the list of those to be deported from the US whom they call “Worst of the Worst Criminals”.
“There’s none from Kaduna State. Please check if someone from your state is there.”
