Tinubu Condoles Chukwueze Over Mother’s Death, Mourns With Super Eagles
President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sympathy to Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze following the death of his mother, Mrs. Sarah Chukwueze.
In a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the loss as especially painful, coming just days after the passing of Wilfred Ndidi’s father.
Tinubu said he shares in the grief of the Chukwueze family and assured them of his prayers and support, urging them to find comfort in the legacy of their late matriarch. He also prayed for the repose of Mrs. Chukwueze’s soul.
The back-to-back losses have cast a pall over the Super Eagles camp, deepening a period of national mourning.
