The Tinubu government has failed in all ramifications – Former Minister of Police Affairs, Adamu Waziri
A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri, has slammed President Bola Tinubu’s administration, calling it a “total disaster” and worse than the much-criticized Buhari government.
In an interview with Trust Television, Waziri warned that Nigeria is becoming increasingly fragile and polarised under Tinubu’s leadership, accusing the government of lacking a clear sense of national purpose. He questioned the sincerity of those publicly supporting the administration, especially from regions plagued by severe violence.
Waziri urged Nigerians to critically assess the government’s record, arguing that “a regime presiding over national decline in every sector cannot credibly seek reelection.”
“If the Buhari government was a failure, the Tinubu government in the last two years is a disastrous catastrophe,” he said, adding that, “It has failed in all ramifications, and the country has regressed.”
“I am surprised that people whose local governments are under the control of bandits can appear on national television to endorse this government,” he said.
