Buhari’s nephew, Mamman Daura admitted in London hospital amid news of ex-president’s death

Mamman Daura, nephew of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has reportedly been hospitalized in London due to illness.

According to a statement from the Office of the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, Daura is currently receiving treatment and recovering at an undisclosed medical facility.

The vice president, who is currently in London, visited the Buhari family as part of efforts to coordinate the return of the former president’s body to Nigeria.

The statement by Shettima’s spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha reads: “The Vice President also visited the late President’s nephew, Malam Mamman Daura, who is recuperating in a London hospital.”
