All Delta PDP Reps defect to APC
All Delta State PDP members in the House of Representatives have officially defected to the APC, as announced by Speaker Tajudeen Abbas during Tuesday’s plenary. This follows the recent defection of former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and current Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to the APC during a stakeholders meeting in Asaba.
In response, Rep. Ikenga Ugochinyere revealed that more defections are expected, including two governors and 40 lawmakers. Meanwhile, former Senate President Bukola Saraki has assured that the PDP will be repositioned, stating that those choosing to leave are free to do so.
