Senator Shehu Sani has cautioned that freedom of speech now comes at a cost.
In a Facebook post, he advised Nigerians who frequently express their opinions online to set aside money for legal fees in case they face lawsuits over their posts. He added that even lawyers offering pro bono services often request money for fuel or airtime.
