“Peter Obi is not a bad person. My mind was poisoned by my former party members” Bashir El-Rufai says after his father Nasir El-Rufai defected from APC

Bashir El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai, has admitted he was mistaken about Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections.

He shared this reflection on X shortly after his father announced his defection from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Bashir El-Rufai tweeted: “Peter Obi is surprisingly not a bad person after all. My views on him have changed recently. My mind was poisoned by my former party members. Sai Obi!”
