Next time I see Governor Sanwo-Olu, I still won’t greet him and this time, even if he calls me I won’t answer – Mr Macaroni
Popular comedian and activist Adebowale “Debo” Adedayo, widely known as Mr Macaroni, has declared that he will no longer acknowledge Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu if they cross paths.
In the past, Mr Macaroni has been seen avoiding the governor at public events, with one instance where he was pressured into greeting him.
However, in a recent post on X, he firmly stated that he will never again be coerced into interacting with Sanwo-Olu.
He wrote: “This is the last time I will address this matter. It is not worth my peace of mind.
“Since you people won’t stop attacking me because I didn’t greet Governor Sanwoolu, next time I see him, I still won’t greet him.
“And this time, even if he calls me I won’t answer. You people will cry today, tomorrow and forever!”
Mr Macaroni’s grudge with Sanwo-Olu may not be unconnected with his arrest during the ENDSARS protest in 2021.
