Businessman Isaac Fayose has criticized social critic Verydarkman (VDM) for claiming he pranked Nigerians by alleging that ₦180 million went missing from his NGO account.
In a video, VDM explained that the prank was intended to highlight what he described as the gullibility of some social media users.
Reacting to the stunt, Fayose condemned VDM’s actions, stating that joking about funds entrusted to his NGO was inappropriate. He argued that in other countries, such an act could lead to restrictions on the NGO. Fayose further questioned VDM about when the donated funds would be disbursed, noting that the money had been with him for some time.
