SA appointment: Seek Shettima’s forgiveness — Ndume tells Bwala who had left the APC after Shettima was picked as Tinubu’s running mate

Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, representing Borno South, has advised Daniel Bwala, the newly appointed Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communications, to seek reconciliation with Vice President Kashim Shettima. Bwala had left the All Progressives Congress (APC) following Shettima’s selection as Tinubu’s running mate.

Ndume, in a statement, encouraged Bwala to work closely with Shettima to advance the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda. He also urged Bwala to draw inspiration from long-standing Tinubu allies, such as Sunday Dare and Bayo Onanuga, by defending the president’s policies with professionalism, avoiding offensive rhetoric.

“You should also learn from the likes of Hadiza Bala and Nuhu Ribadu (NSA), who defend and market Tinubu’s policies backed by facts and figures. Finally, you should also link up with our people at the grassroots because charity begins from home. I wish you success in your new assignment,” he stated.
