Tinubu appoints Daniel Bwala special adviser on Media

President Bola Tinubu has approved a series of appointments. Daniel Bwala, a respected lawyer and public affairs analyst, has been named Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications for the State House. This role places him at the forefront of driving effective communication for the administration.

Additionally, three prominent Nigerians have been appointed as director-general of vital federal agencies, bringing their extensive expertise to key sectors:

Olawale Olopade has been named Director-General of the National Sports Commission. As a seasoned sports administrator, Olopade served as Ogun State’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports and chaired the Local Organising Committee for the 2024 National Sports Festival.

Dr. Abisoye Fagade will become the Director-General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism. As a marketing communications expert and founder of Sodium Brand Solutions, Dr. Fagade will bring innovative leadership to the tourism sector.

Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, appointed Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement, leverages his extensive experience, including Director of Research, Training, and Strategic Planning at the bureau.

The appointments, announced by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, reflect the administration’s commitment to harnessing the expertise of skilled professionals for national development.
