I can’t drive in Nigeria without police escorts – Tems
R&B star Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, shared that she considers herself extremely famous in Nigeria.
In an interview on Big Boy TV in the United States, Tems mentioned that her fame often complicates her movements within the country. She recalled an incident last December when she was nearly mobbed while driving in Lagos.
Due to her popularity, she explained that she can’t drive in Nigeria without police escorts.
“I used to drive in Nigeria, but now I can’t drive. I almost got mobbed last December. If I want to drive, I must have police escorts at the front and the back,” she said.
