If you have a daughter in UNN, call her and hold her ears – Activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, says after 17-year-old female student was k!lled in school
Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu has urged parents of female students at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, to regularly remind their daughters about prioritizing their safety. He highlighted growing concerns about alarming incidents at the institution, alleging that the management may be attempting to cover them up.
Gwamnishu shared the tragic story of 17-year-old Joy Eze, who left for lectures but never returned home alive. Her body was found the following day, with severe facial injuries. He noted that this is not the first troubling incident reported from the university, recalling cases where a girl was lured for a dispatch item and kidnapped, and a young man was also abducted from the campus.
He said; “If you have a daughter in UNN, call her and hold her ears. A lot of things are happening in that school and the school authority are not doing enough to see how they can manage it. and the ones happening, they cover it up. This girl went for lecture and never returned back. If you have a child in that school, caution them. Talk to them
