I’ve never earned wages from Covenant University – Bishop Oyedepo
Cleric, Bishop David Oyedepo, the chancellor of Covenant University, revealed that he has not taken any salary since the institution was established.
Speaking at the university’s 19th convocation, Oyedepo, who also founded Living Faith Church, emphasized that the real reward for him has been the success and personal development of the students.
At the ceremony, first and higher degrees were awarded, and prizes were presented to 1,607 graduates. Oyedepo also highlighted the university’s contributions to sectors including aviation, fashion, banking, and ICT.
“I said this before God. I have not earned any wages from Covenant University since its inception. Your testimonies of success and breakthroughs in different fields of endeavour have been my earnings and wages.
“You are created to be a contributor. Find a place to contribute. You cannot be a contributor and be a failure. You will be part of the solution and not those who are problems,” he said.
