I gave VeryDarkMan the go-ahead to expose Bobrisky – Seun Kuti
Nigerian musician Seun Kuti has opened up about his involvement in the ongoing controversy between cross-dresser Bobrisky (Idris Okuneye) and popular influencer VeryDarkMan (Martins Vincent Otse). The feud escalated when VeryDarkMan released an alleged voice recording of Bobrisky claiming he bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him.
In the recording, Bobrisky allegedly boasted about avoiding prison time, claiming that a powerful connection arranged for him to serve his sentence in a private lodge rather than behind bars. However, Bobrisky denied these allegations, stating that the viral recording was fake and reaffirming that he served his prison term.
Seun Kuti has now revealed that he was the one who encouraged VeryDarkMan to release the recording after learning about its existence, adding another layer to the heated public dispute.
Speaking during an Instagram live session, Kuti said, “You people are late to the party, I was the first person VeryDarkMan informed about the story. I gave him the go-ahead to expose Bobrisky.”
