Popular Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has cautioned her fans against becoming sacrificial lambs for anyone, regardless of the relationship.
Opeyemi shared this advice while reflecting on the one-year anniversary of singer Mohbad’s death on Thursday. In an Instagram story, she posted some of the lessons she had taken from the tragic event.
According to her; “It’s been 1 year since Mohbad transitioned and a lot has happened, still happening.
“Few lessons learnt, the risk of getting your conscience dirty for wealth is not worth it in the end.
“The love for money and fear of supreme influence will turn even your blood and loved ones against you. Human survival instincts are not respecter of love, loyalty, blood or friendship.
“Poverty will forever be tool in the hands of the wealthy. Try not to put yourself forward as the sacrificial lamb for anyone (I’m doing this for my family or siblings and parents) because your sacrifice will be robbed in the mud.”
