”This intimidation and assault must stop” – NLC confirms arrest of its president, Joe Ajaero, by DSS officials

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has confirmed the arrest of its President, Joe Ajaero.

Ajaero was detained by officials of the Department of State Services (DSS) at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on September 9, as he was en route to the UK.

The reason for his arrest has not yet been disclosed.
