Abiola Essien, the Senior Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Community Engagement (North Central), has sparked reactions online after sharing photos of a toilet project she initiated in a community in Plateau State.
In her post, Abiola explained that the project addresses young girls’ challenges during their menstrual cycles.
Describing the projects as ‘’the renewed hope’, Abiola wrote;
‘’The first toilet in Nagohom Community, Mazah Ward, Plateau State is almost completed. It is built within the school compound

Our girls will not miss classes again when they are having their menstrual cycle
I have contributed to ending open Defecation in Nigeria.
