Politician Peter Obi has denounced the remarks made by a Canada-based Nigerian woman, Amaka Patience Sunnberger, who threatened to poison Yorubas and Edo natives in Canada. Sunnberger made the threat during a discussion on a TikTok space, claiming that other tribes have marginalized Igbos for too long and should be eliminated.
She specifically threatened to poison the meals of her Yoruba colleagues at work. In response, Peter Obi took to X, describing Amaka’s comments as “divisive” and stating that such behavior has no place in Nigerian society.
