Tinubu set to travel to China to perfect rail contract, other MOUs
President Bola Tinubu is set to visit China in early September 2024. Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, stated that Tinubu will meet with Chinese Prime Minister Xi Jinping to discuss bilateral issues.
He will also engage with the Chinese Rail Construction Company (CRCC) to finalize contracts for the Ibadan to Abuja rail project. Additionally, the visit aims to attract foreign direct investment to Nigeria, particularly in agriculture, power, commerce, and communications, with several Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) expected to be signed.
