Nigerians want to protest Tinubu’s horrible Governance but they want to hold Peter Obi accountable by arresting him – Charly Boy dares the presidency to arrest Peter Obi
Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has expressed his anger over an alleged plot to arrest Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi. The Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR) claimed that the Presidency plans to arrest Obi in response to a nationwide protest scheduled for August.
Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga accused Obi’s supporters of organizing the protest. POMR’s spokesperson, Yunusa Tanko, stated that these allegations aim to justify Obi’s arrest. Reacting on his official X handle, Charly Boy questioned why the Presidency is blaming Obi for the protest and dared them to arrest him and face the consequences.
He wrote in pidgin, “Abeg I wan understand something, so Nigerians – BAT supporters join – wan gather protest against Tinubu’s bad government and horrible tenure, but na Peter Obi dem wan hold accountable by arresting am? Okay na!!
“Let’s go! Make una try that arrest and see what will happen as una think say una dey untouchable therefore can do anything. We dey dey look and wait”.
