TASUED student dragged out of exam hall and killed by cultists
A final-year student at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, named Ola Fabiyi, was killed after suspected cultists stormed his examination hall, dragged him out, and fatally beat him on Wednesday, July 3.
According to The Cable, chaos erupted on campus when men in white shirts invaded the ETF exam hall during a session at noon. They dragged Fabiyi, the general governor of TASUED’s College of Humanities, outside, beat him with stones, stabbed him, and left him unconscious in the bush.
A video surfaced showing shocked colleagues watching from a distance as the assault took place. In the video, about 15 men were seen dragging Fabiyi by the leg and kicking him as he writhed in pain. Student witnesses reported that campus security arrived only after the assailants had fled. Fabiyi was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
