Flavour announces death of his father

Nigerian highlife singer Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, has announced the passing of his father, Elder Onyemaechi Okoli.

He shared the sad news on his X (formerly Twitter) handle.

Elder Okoli passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2023.

Flavour wrote in Igbo: “My father, Ijele’s (his nickname) father, rest well. God gave and God has taken.”

The family is yet to announce the funeral plans for the deceased.
