“Stop making movies where Nigerians travel broad dey mumu, we sell ourselves short” – Yul Edochie tells Filmmakers

Yul Edochie has called on Nollywood filmmakers to refrain from producing movies depicting Nigerians traveling abroad and engaging in foolish behavior.

He argued that such storytelling only diminishes the image of Nigerians.

He contended that filmmakers in the Western world would never create films portraying a Caucasian individual arriving in Africa and causing trouble.
