Family and friends celebrate jailed former deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu’s 62nd birthday
Family and Friends commemorated the 62nd birthday of former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, who is currently serving a nine-year prison sentence in the UK for organ trafficking.
Former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Olisa Metuh, posted pictures with Ekweremadu’s daughters, including Sonia, and other relatives on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
“Today, I joined the Ekweremadu daughters and some family members to celebrate the 62nd birthday of my friend and brother for life. Indeed, I am so proud of the girls, especially Sonia, for the remarkable strength and resilience they have shown in these trying times,” he wrote.
“We cut a birthday cake in his honour and enjoyed a sumptuous lunch in celebration. May the Almighty God give him peace and good health as we pray for a grand re-union in Jesus name.”
