
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to visit Nigeria today
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are scheduled to visit Nigeria on Friday, May 10th. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been invited for a private visit by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa.
According to Air Vice Marshal Abidemi Marquis, Director of Sports at Defence Headquarters, DHQ, the founder of Invictus Games will spend three days in Nigeria, engaging with wounded soldiers and their families. This visit, set from May 10th to May 13th, 2024, aims to support the recovery efforts of wounded soldiers.
Marquis said: Because we realised that 80 per cent of our soldiers have been involved in this recovery programme, they are getting better. Their outlook on life is positive. You know, when you are engaged in, you experience a permanent disability, you know, issues, it affects your mental health and also your outlook on life.
