There is no money anywhere in the country; the government is just managing to pay salaries – Minister
The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Atiku Bagudu, expressed concern over the insufficient funds available to address the growing challenges associated with Nigeria’s increasing population.
Dr. Sampson Ebimaro, representing Bagudu at an event in Abuja on October 20, emphasized the need for non-governmental organizations to collaborate with the government to fill certain gaps. He pointed out that Nigeria’s population is rapidly expanding, accompanied by rising unemployment and a high inflation rate.
The minister said; Government faces enormous challenges especially now; the government is facing a revenue deficit. There is no money anywhere in the country; the government is just managing to pay salaries. The growth rate is very slow and the population growth is fast pacing and increasing. Unemployment is surging in the midst of high inflation
that is total nonsense….
